We Didn’t Just Study the Restaurant Industry. We Built Restaurants.

Cogi AI was born from firsthand experience operating restaurants, managing teams, controlling food and labor costs, and making the difficult decisions restaurant owners face every day.

The Five Standards.

The 5 Founding Principles of Cogi AI. Our non-negotiables.

  1. 01

    Value Before Features.

Every Feature Must Deliver Measurable Value

If it doesn’t save money, make money, or save meaningful time, we don’t build it.

Cogi must never become another software company that adds features simply to impress customers. Every feature should solve a real restaurant problem and have a measurable outcome.

The testCan we demonstrate the financial or operational value this feature creates for a restaurant owner?

  2. 02

    Consistency Without Compromise.

Excellence Must Be Repeatable, Not Accidental

The 10,000th customer must receive the same quality, reliability, and experience as the first.

Cogi must have consistent standards across every product release, integration, onboarding, recommendation, and customer interaction.

The testCan we deliver the same exceptional experience without the founders personally overseeing it?

  3. 03

    Intelligence Before Information.

    Build Intelligence, Not Just Software

Cogi must not simply tell restaurant owners what is happening. It must tell them what to do next.

Dashboards show information. Intelligence identifies problems, recommends solutions, predicts outcomes, and, when authorized, takes action.

Every Cogi IQ product should move toward making the restaurant operate smarter with less manual intervention.

The testDoes this make Cogi a more intelligent operating partner, or is it just another report?

  4. 04

    Trust Above Everything.

    Earn Trust Every Single Day

One incorrect recommendation can destroy the trust earned through a thousand correct ones.

Restaurants will eventually trust Cogi with financial data, employee schedules, purchasing decisions, and operational recommendations. Accuracy, security, transparency, and accountability must never be compromised for growth.

The testWould we confidently use this recommendation or automation in our own restaurants with real money at stake?

  5. 05

    Systems Before Scale.

Build Everything to Scale Beyond Us

If something only works because a founder or exceptional employee is involved, it is not scalable.

Every process should be designed for 50,000 restaurants, not just the first 50. That means repeatable onboarding, automated support, documented systems, clear ownership, and a culture of accountability.

The testCan this process work at 100 times our current size without requiring 100 times the people?

Every decision. Every product. Every customer. Every day.
